Final presentation

The introduction was clear enough.
I used a note paper and I read from it some points. I think the eye contact was good enough but I was a little nervous.
The slides were colorful, clear and with images; I think the words in each slide were good and sufficient.
Content: I explained the causes and the problems and I think I had explained some important solutions.
Language: I used simple words to make it easy to understand.

Meeting report

Aims of the meeting
The meeting was called to discuss the problem of parking at ADMC. Our goal is to find the best solution to make the parking big enough for the number of the students’ cars. We had the best solution which is to build a parking building for students besides the F-block parking.

Minutes of the meeting

Date: 23-2-2010
Time: 1:00 pm.
Place: F52.
In attendance: Saif Al Khaili, Salem Al Mazrouei, Faisal Al Dhaheri Ahmed Al Mansoori .
Agenda:
1-Discuss the problem of college parking.
2-Finding solution for traffic congestion in parking lot.
3-Discuss the solutions.
4-Agree with the best solution.
Saif called the meeting to order at 2 pm. The first item declared was:
1- Saif says that we have to expand the parking space because we have around 750 parking spaces and students are around 2125 so the students are more than the parking spaces.
2- Faisal agrees with it but he has a better solution which is having the same number of parking spaces as the number of students.
3- Salem says that they should build a parking building.
4- We all agree with Salem because it’s the best solution and we have enough space for the building beside the F-block parking.
Saif asked if there was AOB; he then closed the meeting at 1:30 p.m.

Reflection:

I the chairman led the meeting well, as well as the secretary who is Faisal Saif and the participant who is Salem Hassan who discussed the agenda well and Faisal who wrote the minutes specifically about how to improve the HCT in many ways and we all discussed them one by one. We learned how to stick to the topic and not go further in the discussion about things not on the agenda. So if we run another meeting we will be good at it.

Classmate Introduction

Hi, my name is Saif. Today I’d like to introduce our classmate Rashid. I’m going to tell you about his hometown, family, and favorite activities. Rashid was born in Abu Dhabi. However, he now lives in Karama, Abu Dhabi. He has 3 brothers and sisters. When Rashid has free time he logs in to facebook and he also enjoys riding motor cycles.

Rashid’s ambition is to be minister, perhaps minister of petroleum. His best vacation was in Sweihan. He went there with his family two weeks ago. He has been to Sweihan many times because he has a ranch. He thinks the best things about the ADMC are the people, because they are very polite and helpful. And the worst thing about the ADMC is the projects, because all the courses want projects.

Now you know a little bit about Rashid Al Menhali, his family and leisure activities.
